Authority Approves $5M Transaction for Community Partnership of Southern Arizona
Tucson, AZ
The Arizona
Health Facilities Authority has approved a $5,075,000 transaction for
Community Partnership of Southern Arizona (CPSA). CPSA has requested
the Authority issue its Adjustable Rate Revenue Bonds and loan the
proceeds to Community Behavioral Health Properties, LLC, an Arizona
limited liability company, the sole member of which is CPSA.
CPSA is the regional behavioral health authority designated by the
State of Arizona to coordinate and manage publicly funded behavioral
health services for Cochise, Graham, Greenlee, Santa Cruz and Pima
Counties. CPSA is an administrative body and does not provide direct
services.
CPSA proposes to use the funds for the acquisition, renovation,
furnishing and equiping of property in Tucson, for use as offices, a
conference and training center and various behavioral health treatment
facilities, and the refinancing of CPSA's existing office and
administrative facilities in Tucson. The project will create a
centrally located facility providing a one-stop comprehensive crisis
system.
