$40,000,000 Bond Approval To Fund New Home for Phoenix Children's Hospital

The bond proceeds will be used to acquire the assets of Phoenix Regional Medical Center and fund related improvements and capital equipment.

The acquisition of the Phoenix Regional Medical Center will allow Phoenix Children's Hospital to operate as a freestanding pediatric hospital. It is anticipated that the renovation and reengineering of the campus will be completed within 23 months of the closing of the acquisition. The 23-acre campus is located at the corner of 20th Street and Thomas Road and is comprised of 221,360 square feet of inpatient facilities and 109,311 square feet of outpatient facilities.
