The Arizona Health Facilities Authority has approved the financing application for La Frontera Center, Inc. La Frontera is a community behavioral health center serving the residents of Pima County, Arizona. Founded in 1968, the applicant has grown to include more than 20 service locations serving more than 9,000 clients. The applicant provides case management; assessment, evaluation and diagnosis; outpatient mental health counseling; substance abuse identification and treatment; therpeutic nursery and preschool; and psychiatric acute care, long term residential care, vocational rehabilitation, safe haven, and home-based counseling and support services for persons with serious mental illness.

The applicant proposes to use the funds to finance or refinance the (i) the construction and equipping of an outpatient clinic; (ii) the construction of clinical and office space on the administrative campus; and (iii) the acquisition of a group home to provide long term residential services.

The fixed rate Bonds will mature in 15 years and will be privately placed with Wells Fargo Brokerage Services, LLC.
